Rakhi is a Telugu film directed by Krishna Vamsi and has Jr. NTR in the lead role and Ileana D'Cruz and Charmme Kaur in supporting roles. This film released on December 22, 2006 with 250 prints. Story

Rama Krishna or Rakhi(Jr. NTR) aspires to become railway stationmaster like his father (Chandramohan). His love interest and close friend Tripura (Ileana D'Cruz) is a reporter in TV channel who exposes atrocities against women in society. For Rakhi, his sister Gayathri (Manjusha) is everything. She is married off to software professional (Ravi Varma) who plans to go USA. The greedy in-laws burn her alive for more dowry. Devastated by this he takes up law on to his hands and kills everyone who harasses a woman. A police officer Meenakshi Iyer (Suhasini) convinces him to surrender before the law. Before surrendering, he has killed over 49 misogynists. Finally, he surrended to the police and went to jail to kill the person who kill her sister friend sri latha, atlast he kill him. He told his sister story to suhasini and she realizes and appreciate rakhi. One day many girls want to meet rakhi and suhasini gave permission to meet all them. Suddenly villain (minister) makes a call to suhasini that he kept a bomb in the police station premises. The bomb blasts, and many of them were died including charmy who loves rakhi very much. Rakhi kill that bloody villain and surrended to police and he was taken to the court by next day. Here prakash raj was judge. His dialogs in the court are remarkable . finally prakash raj resign to his post and back to takeup the case of rakhi. The court drama forms the rest of the story.
