Story

Rama Krishna or Rakhi(Jr. NTR) aspires to become railway stationmaster like his father (Chandramohan). His love interest and close friend Tripura (Ileana D'Cruz) is a reporter in TV channel who exposes atrocities against women in society. For Rakhi, his sister Gayathri (Manjusha) is everything. She is married off to software professional (Ravi Varma) who plans to go USA. The greedy in-laws burn her alive for more dowry. Devastated by this he takes up law on to his hands and kills everyone who harasses a woman. A police officer Meenakshi Iyer (Suhasini) convinces him to surrender before the law. Before surrendering, he has killed over 49 misogynists. Finally, he surrended to the police and went to jail to kill the person who kill her sister friend sri latha, atlast he kill him. He told his sister story to suhasini and she realizes and appreciate rakhi. One day many girls want to meet rakhi and suhasini gave permission to meet all them. Suddenly villain (minister) makes a call to suhasini that he kept a bomb in the police station premises. The bomb blasts, and many of them were died including charmy who loves rakhi very much. Rakhi kill that bloody villain and surrended to police and he was taken to the court by next day. Here prakash raj was judge. His dialogs in the court are remarkable . finally prakash raj resign to his post and back to takeup the case of rakhi. The court drama forms the rest of the story.

YVS express his opinion on “OKKA MAGADU”

I am a great heart favorite to Mr.k.Raghavendra rao, director, since my days in gudivada as president of NTR’s fans association. I also started K Raghavendra Rao fans association and corresponded with him regularly. People go to theatres just to watch songs of K Raghavendra Rao’s films. I am hugely inspired by him. Listening to his songs enhanced my love for music. Lucky I joined K Raghavendra Rao as assistant director and it gave me lot of scope to song picturisation because I observed K Raghavendra Rao’s work from close quarters.

Music is the heart for any movie. The success of the movie depends on the mosic. Actually, my song picturization was always appreciated right from my first film Sri Seeta Ramula Kalyanam Chootamu Rarandi to Devadasu. I have created my own style in unusual song picturization. I did four films with M.M. Keeravani, who is my all time favorite music director. Ramana Gogula composed extraordinary music for Yuvaraju. Chakri gave blockbuster music for Devadasu, which ran for 175 days in 17 centres.

When music has become such an important ingredient of film’s success, I take extreme precautions while signing a music director. Mani Sharma is an excellent music director with great specialization in keyboard. He is also exceptionally good at re-recording and background score. He has delivered industry hits with almost all leading heroes of Telugu cinema. His music caters to classes and masses alike. Mani Sharma has given extraordinary music for Okka Magadu. He has already composed six songs out of seven songs for Okka Magadu. For a high profile film like Okka Magadu, it is very important to have music that gives an instant kick. The music of Okka Magadu is going to be huge chartbuster. One listening is enough to judge how good Okka Magadu songs are? After working with Mani Sharma, I realized that he has excellent grip on tunes, orchestra and rhythm. Okka Magadu music will surpass the music composed for all my six films. Mani sarma is one of the best music directors for this millennium. Really he did an excellent job for this movie. Hats off to Mani Sharma!

Review for “ okka magadu “

The shooting for Bala Krishna-starrer Okka Mogadu is now completed. The post production work is currently on. The film’s audio was scheduled for the first week of December actually. But now, the date has been postponed and it is likely to be December 14, say the industry sources.

Co- starrers of balayya was Anushka, Nisha Khothari and Simran. Simran did 2 movies for Bala Krishna like Samara Simha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu which are run on the way of success and completed its platinum jubilee celebrations. We hope that, this movie also complete its 100 days celebrations.

Once again balayya is going to be roar on the silver screen. Now this time that chance will be taken by the hit director Y.V.S.CHOWDARY. Popular director cum producer Y.V.S Choudary says, 'Nandamuri fans had high expectations from the day I announced that I am planning 'Okka Magadu' with Balakrishna in my own banner under my direction. Both the industry as well as the audience had formed an opinion that Balakrishna would create a new sensation. We have decided not to compromise at any point of time to reach all their expectations and it will be made with high technical values. Our hero Balakrishna would look in a new get-up, different in dialogue-delivery, change in the dance movements and fights. I will try my best to show novelty in every aspect. At the same time, two top heroines would play opposite the hero to mesmerize the family audience. Several top class artistes of the Telugu film industry were booked for the film, besides a best technical team.'

May be there is a strong sentiment to Y.V.S. CHOWDARY that he take the first shot or muhurtham shot in front of lord satya narayana swamy. Why because every shot for his movies will first taken in satya narayana swamy temple likewise the muhurtam shot of the film “OKKA MAGADU also taken near the Satyanarayana Swamy temple at 11.03 am on August 28. In fact, there is a strong bond between our banner and Sri Satyanarayana Swamy. The music composing of first film on our banner 'Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo…' was done at Annavaram. After completing the pallavis there, we left for Tirupati and did Charanams. Likewise, the music of 'Sitayya' has begun at Tirupati, while the first audio cassette was released at Annavaram. The muhurat shot of our third film 'Devadasu' was also shot at Annavaram and the second day shoot was held at Tirupati. Like this, we achieved a hat trick success in all the three films. While two films had celebrated Silver Jubilee, one ran for 100 days successfully.

By taking first shot in front of satya narayana swamy, all his movies are run an the way of success and completed its 100 days functions. So, director YVS Choudary says, 'Continuing the tradition, we have taken the muhurat shot of our latest and prestigious project 'Okka Magadu' also on the portrait of Lord Satyanarayana Swamy on the steps to the up hills with the 'Gaali Gopuram' in the backdrop. I gave the clap and my mother Ratna kumari switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. Immediately we left for Tirumala and took the second shoot on the 'Namams' of the Lord.'

Giving more details about their film, Mr Choudary says, 'We had started recording of songs on August 28 at Mahati studio in Hyderabad under the music direction of Mani Sharma and one sloka was recorded as a first step. There will be seven songs in this film. The regular shoot of the film would begin in the second half of October. We will complete shooting and other formalities by February and release the film on April 28, the day Junior NTR's prestigious film 'Adavadi Ramudu' was released. We are confident that we would achieve another sensational hit in 2007 summer.'

The film being produced on the banner of Bommarillu Vari will have story, screenplay and dialogue assistance by Posani Krishna murali, dialogues are by Chintapalli Ramana, and cinematography is by Madhu A Naidu, editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, action by Vijay, lyrics by Chandra Bose. While Yalamanchili Geeta is presenting the film, story and direction are by YVS Choudary, who is also the producer.

Nadamuri Balakrishna is away from the shooting for some time for the reason of daughter Brahmani's marriage with Nara Lokesh, Who is the son of N. Chandrababu Naidu, former chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Now blakrishna is busy with his daily shooting. Bcz hi is free from his daughter marriage .The next shedule will be planned to september 10. This movie directed by YVS Chowdary. Story

Missamma(Savithri who is the daughter of S.V.Rangarao. She be gone in her childhood and brought up by Christians and named Mary. There she is tortured by a Ramana reddy to marry him as she has to pay some money. Then she meets NTR who is in search of job. NTR one day finds in paper one advertisement given by S.V.Rangarao for two music teachers who are wife and husband. NTR puts forth a proposal for Savithri saying we will apply as wife and husband. Initially Savithri will not accept but finally she accepts. Along with NTR & Savithri goes Relangi as the mediator between them. ANR wants to find out that Savithri is the S.V.R’s daughter or not.ANR has doubt on savithri she is the daughter of SVR. this mystery part will be maintain through out the movie finely ANR find outs the truth.
